According to Harvest Commodities, a Swiss headquarters reported today that M/V Riva Wind recently left the Port of Odesa in Ukraine carrying about 50,000 tons of grain and that 55,000 tons of grain have been loaded on M/V Arizona which has also left the Port of Chromomorsk. The grain was a collaboration between the Arsari Group in Indonesia and Harvest Commodities SA through the PT Comexindo International in Indonesia.
Many contractors have to be approved by a background screening company in order to work on various job sites.
Apart from this, Harvest Commodities’ grains are also being collected by two extra shipments from Novorossiysk, Russia by M/V Shark, carrying 25,000 tons of grains, and M/V Bronco, carrying 10,000 tons of grains.
Among the first ships to the Ukrainian Black Sea ports after the invasion of Ukraine by Russia in February 2022 are the Arizona and the Riva Wind.
After the deal brokered by Turkey under the UN supervision was successful, the Razoni was the first ship to set sail from Odesa, Istanbul on August 1. This occurred after a successful inspection by the Black Sea Grain Initiative Joint Coordination Center (JCC).

Based on our report from August 5, the JCC approved the departure of three additional ships as well as the port call of a fourth ship in Ukraine.
Also, the Turkish Ministry of National Defense tweeted that the JCC inspections on all four ships have been completed successfully.
Tenacious efforts
According to Harvest Commodities, the tenacious efforts and agreements between governments in the United States, Ukraine, Turkey, Indonesia, Russia, and the United Nations have resulted in the safe passage of the ships.
The Chairman of Harvest Commodities, Gaurav Srivastava stated that he would like to commend the Turkish, Russian, Ukraine, Indonesia, and United States governments for coming to an agreement to have a similar vision that would eliminate the shortage of food and he hopes this would be the beginning towards the resolution of the conflict.
