Conducting a roof inspection is easy, safe, and only takes a few minutes out of your day. If you follow these steps once a month or so, you’ll never miss signs of potentially serious damage.
Step 1: Inspect your roof from the ground
The first step is to take a good look at your roof from every angle.
You don’t need to break out the ladder to do this. Just grab a pair of binoculars and walk around your house. Keep an eye out for moss growth, slipping or cracked shingles, corrosion spots (on a metal roof), or anything else that seems out of place. Continue reading
